This was our second stay at Cregg House and hopefully will not be the last! Comfortable bedroom overlooking the very colourful garden and view of Connemara beyond. Only a short drive into Clifden where we had a very good meal at Mitchell's. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and Mary is a very friendly and helpful hostess.

Luckily, we were able to spend 2 wonderful nights with Mary at Cregg House! Our room and bathroom were, by far, the largest of the handful of B&B's we stayed at during our 8-day trip and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We, like everyone else, also enjoyed our duck friends, who liked to hang out right outside our window. Our first morning, while eating the delicious breakfast, we had mentioned to Mary we were planning on hiking a bit at Connemara National Park and seeing Kylemore Abbey (all within super close proximity to not only each other but the house as well) and she recommended driving up through Sky Road first (while the weather was clear). Sky Road is a beautiful scenic drive, less than an hour, and basically a giant loop. You get to experience an unspoiled portion of Ireland and enjoy an awesome lookout point about 15 min in with amazing views. The road is rather tight and curvy, many areas just large enough for one car, but so worth it. Clifden center is <5 min drive from the house and we enjoyed dinner both nights in a few authentic Irish pubs. Wonderful stay and we hope to be back again!

The room with en suite was spacious, clean, and modern. The garden was beautiful and the ducks were cute. The views were gorgeous and our breakfast was delicious. The driveway was difficult to spot and steep but manageable. The location was close to horse riding.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cregg House. It had everything we needed to get rested for our next day of sightseeing. The breakfast was filling and great. Mary was a lovely host and was helpful in pointing us in the direction of the Kylemore Castle. Would definitely recommend to others!
