Loved chatting with Anne, who gave us great local tips on where to dine for my mother's birthday (Goosers). The house is stunning and the town is so beautiful. Would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you for everything Anne - you made my mother's birthday trip very memorable!

Charming, quaint and beautiful B&B on the outskirts of Limerick. The location is excellent for taking day trips in any direction. Room was spacious and comfortable. The host Ann was welcoming, kind and generous. I cannot recommend Whitethorn Lodge highly enough. Thank you Ann for being so wonderful! James and Letty Steele

We had a very comfortable visit with Anne in a room with plenty of space to spread out and relax. I'm guessing it may have been a nursing home in a former life as the bathroom was very well equipped, but the low sink is not ideal if you are not sitting down. We didn't rush around, and Saturday down by the Loch watching a sailing race and waiting for triathlon swimmers to arrive was very relaxing. The Cathedral in Killaloe is a gem, and thanks to your friend Anne, Adrian did get to play the organ. Bunratty Castle was so highly recommended that we went on out way up to Mayo, and I wish I was more able as there is so much to see and the castle itself is fascinating. Having been restored it offers a view of a medieval castle which ruins cannot! Thank you again Ann, you restored our faith in Irish b and b's which had been dented on our way to you. Xx

The Whitehorn Lodge was just perfect. The rooms were roomy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. The location was walking distance (with sidewalks) to the town center. Our hostess Anne told us where to have a delicious meal, Goosers, and then the pub, Washer Woman, for some local music and both were excellent! We would definitely stay there again.
