Whitethorn was, by far, the best B&B in our 3 week Irish journey. Anne was amazing, excited about our adventures, suggesting the best meal and experience locations, and the best hostess. We so enjoyed spending several days with Anne, and the breakfast was excellent. We'd highly recommend staying at Whitethorn!

Great stay. The towns nearby are great and cozy. Good Irish dancing and history ( Brian Bru lived in killaloe). No complaints at all except for wifi- had to go down hall for good reception but when I did it was fast enough so not too much of an issue.

We did not arrive at Whitethorn Lodge until after 10 pm but called Anne en route who recommended a nice restaurant still open for dinner. After a good night's sleep in a very pleasant room, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the sunny dining room and chatted with Anne about the best route to our next destination and what to see along the way. Anne is a very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable hostess and we would definitely stay at Whitethorn Lodge again.
