Ann was an excellent host and provided breakfasts to die for, topped off with gorgeous freshly baked scones. Great accommodation with superb views out of the front. Ann kindly directed us to the Michael Collins museum, run by Tim Crowley, a direct descendant of the great man, which we found most interesting, giving us an in depth knowledge of Irish history. During our 2 night stay there we most enjoyed Clonakilty where we experienced lots of good music in the pubs and on the street. Fully recommend this B & B.

We had a fabulous time in Clonakilty. Ann made us feel really welcome and gave us great advice about sights to see. The room was large with a lovely view over the countryside and the breakfast was superb - lots of choice. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ballard House to anyone who wants to explore the coast south of Cork.
