Ann Lehane

Ann is your hostess during your stay at Ballard and I will make sure you enjoy your stay. I will let you know all the places of interest in beautiful Clonakilty /West Cork /Cork City which are steeped in history. I have been taking guests into my home for 27 years and it is something I really enjoy. I serve a good breakfast with as much locally produced products as possible not forgetting the beautiful Clonakilty Black Pudding. We have a mini farm with beef cattle and horses and some hens.

We spent three nights in June at Ballard House. Ann and Seamus were very welcoming hosts. We felt very comfortable there and enjoyed their lovely bright dining/ living room area. The breakfasts were delicious and they gave us lots of helpful advice about places to visit. The country setting was beautiful!

Ann was a wonderful host, very welcoming and she went out of her way to help me find somewhere to stay for my final two nights as she was fully booked. Ballard House was a lovely place to stay with a comfortable and welcoming sitting room. The bedroom and en-suite were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ann's home. She was very accomadating with our arrival time, the rooms were spacious & clean; she has a lovely dining room area with windows all around to see the beautiful countryside & horses. She made us a made-to-order delicious breakfast every morning; also a breakfast sidebar with cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, fresh bread & jam and great coffee! She was delightful and very helpful with places to visit nearby & places to eat. There is a gorgeous beach only 6 miles away, the Inchydoney Beach!

Ballard House is a beautiful and peaceful setting. Ann was a wonderful hostess and our room was clean and spacious. We would definitely book Ballard House again.
