Gormagh

The beauty of staying in an Irish B&B is meeting the hosts/hostesses and staying in homes. Gormagh was la lovely stop for our two night stay with beautiful grounds and a comfortable home. The lounge was very welcoming each night as we wound down from busy travels. Hilary, upon our arrival, had recommendations for dinner and where to have our laundry done - both very necessary tasks! It was good to see and chat with Anne at breakfast, too.

This was our first stay in an Irish B&B and it couldn't have been a better choice. We only stayed one night, but Hilary made us feel right at home, with cozy rooms and a lovely breakfast. Also, we got to know their donkey (even if it was a little bit shy). Thank you for a perfect start into our vacation!

We stayed a night at Gormah and absolutely loved it. The host was super helpful and so nice. She helped us find a nice place to eat and the breakfast was such a lovely treat. We had wonderful conversations with her and she made us feel like we’ve know each other for years. Would highly recommend Gormah to anyone traveling to/through central Ireland.

My husband and I stayed at Gormagh overnight. We were able to get a last minute reservation. Not knowing how long the drive would take, we arrived early. Anne greeted us warmly and let us know our room was ready. We had a lovely chat & she gave us great suggestions on what to do in Tullemore while we were there. The room was clean, bed comfortable & the shower had great pressure. Breakfast was wonderful. Her place is a little slice of countryside and I would encourage you to book a stay with Anne if you are in the area.
