My husband and I stayed at Gormagh overnight. We were able to get a last minute reservation. Not knowing how long the drive would take, we arrived early. Anne greeted us warmly and let us know our room was ready. We had a lovely chat & she gave us great suggestions on what to do in Tullemore while we were there. The room was clean, bed comfortable & the shower had great pressure. Breakfast was wonderful. Her place is a little slice of countryside and I would encourage you to book a stay with Anne if you are in the area.

We stayed one night in this nice house, in a perfect position halfway between Dublin and Galway. The room was large and veryclean. Perfect breakfast! We thank Anne for her warm welcome and for all the suggestions about what to do in the area.

Lovely home … very typical Irish with crafts and paintings. Very comfortable room - spotless.

Wen stayed one night at Gormah and had a wonderful time. When we arrived we had a marvelous chat with the host and she pointed us to a very nice pub with good food. The accommodations were fantastic. The beds comfortable and the room was more than adequate for our needs. We informed the host that we needed to leave early and she set out some food for us to snack on and take with us in the car. We had a wonderful time.

It is no wonder Gormagh House has been around for so long and is highly rated. Anne was a very gracious host who made us feel at right at home. From the warm greeting on our arrival to our final goodbye, she treated us as family. Her breakfast was outstanding and her tips about where to eat and sights to see were great. The location is just a short drive from Tullamore yet very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay at Gormagh House if traveling to Tullamore in the future.
