Bridie was a wonderful host! Facilities were comfortable and nice. Her Irish breakfast was great, we could look out our window and see an open pasture of cows as the farm is a working one. Village of Cong which is just "a good stretch of the legs" is in fact within walking distance and this is that magical area of Ireland where the Quiet Man was filmed. Ryans Hotel has a good restaurant and you are within walking distance of the Museum commemorating the same film. Thanks Bridie

This B&B is run by an amiable, mature couple. Upon arrival the prorpietress was feeding the cows the clippings from lawn cuttings. The couple were very welcoming and friendly. Our room overlooked the views of countryside and hills. The room is compact, but has all you need. The shower and toilet are in a small room, also, but everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable. I saw Bridie ironing the sheets and remarked to her that I don't do that at home for myself. Breakfast was just fine and everything was cooked as we asked. All in all, this was a nice night in the country with amiable owners.

Bridie was a great hostess, a lovely place to stay, truly on a farm with sheep in the pasture behind the house, and cows in the next pasture. The view of the mountains from the front yard was spectacular. Breakfast was great as well.
