Arch House B&B

Wow...just WOW! The location was perfect, and driving down the tree lined lane made my heart happy! Add in some friendly sheep and it was a perfect welcome. We arrived earlier than expected, so we were able to enjoy the lovely sitting room complete with coffee, tea and DELICIOUS home baked goodies. Jane gave us recommendations for filling our afternoon and we visited the Marble Arch caves just down the road. We were upgraded to a King Room, and it was amazing - very clean, very large, wonderfully decorated, extremely comfortable bed and more of Rosemary's outstanding baked goods (I will be emailing you for those recipes)! Rosemary had texted the night before we were to arrive to ask if we'd like dinner when we got there. Yes, please. The steaks were excellent! The place settings, the food and Geoffrey were all outstanding. The breakfast menu was quite larger and varied. We stuck with the full Irish, and were not disappointed. Geoffrey's coffee was perfect! You can absolutely feel that Rosemary LOVES hosting, and she is exceptional at it! It genuinely felt like "coming home." We bought some of Rosemary's jelly(delicious) and a local cookbook to bring home with us. It was an AMAZING stay, and we look forward to coming back another time!

We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved pulling into the parking lot and the sheep being at the fence! The room was cozy and comfortable and breakfast was delicious! Rosemary provided insights into the area that led to exploring the caves, which we hadn't planned on doing but very glad we did!

What an amazing property! The host family was so friendly. Every aspect of Arch House exceeded our expectations. Great location to visit Marble Arch Cave and Enniskillen castle. So very happy we chose Arch House.

Not sure how I can express the happiness staying here gave us. Pulling in and having the sheep come running up to the fence made my daughter so happy. Rosemary had texted a few days earlier to as if we wanted dinner when we arrived, and it was fantastic! The kids loved the lasagna and the local trout was delicious! After dinner Rosemary gave us directions to Florencecourt House and garden. It was a nice walk after dinner and when I mentioned to her about the wonderfulsmell of roses, she brought me out to her garden to see her roses and tell me about the birds who made nest in the goat statue in the garden. When we left, she cut a couple blooms for our car, which was so sweet. She had a small gist shop as well, and my wife was thrilled to buy a couple of late 60's Beleek tea cups to take home. And we will always remember the lamb with Feed me painted on her wool. She was sheep sitting for her daughter and that one always wanted to be fed. When you travel its hard to know which B&B will be good. We only stayed 1 night, but I could imagine staying here for multiple nights in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
