Meet your host…

Joyce & Mervyn Norris

Hello, we are Joyce and Mervyn Norris, your hosts, at Trean House. We run a working sheep farm. In Mervyns spare time he enjoys fishing and growing fruit and vegetables. I like to go walking and ceilidh dancing. We have been a Bed and Breakfast home since 1995 and enjoy very much meeting people from all over the world and indeed have made many good friends over the years. We look forward to making many more.

It was absolutely perfect! The House is just so lovely and quiet with beautiful gardens and close to the ocean. The breakfast was great, the room spacious and the hosts very nice! Thanks again!

What a wonderful stay we had – only wish it could have been longer! Our daughter Michele had stayed at Trean house with her son seven years ago and loved it. She wanted us and her German husband, Andreas, to experience Inishowen and this special place to stay. It was all she had loved and more. We all enjoyed great Irish breakfasts and delightful conversation with you, Joyce and Mervyn, as well as being close to your farm animals and your two very sociable dogs. When the lovely house and grounds and the glorious scenery of Inishowen are added, it is unbeatable. Our family lived in Ireland for three years in the ‘70s and now wish we had been able to visit these gracious hosts and the beautifully unspoiled Atlantic coast back then. We wish you “all the best”. Sincerely, Art and Connie Milligan

The perfect B&B from every point of view. Lovely welcome with an open fire in a wonderfully comfortable sittingroom. Attention paid to every detail, splendid breakfast looking out on the magnificent garden, and the company of two fit and freindly dogs to take us to the nearby beach. Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Norris!
