Faul House

This was our favorite stay for our trip. Kathleen and Michael were amazing. Kathleen met us, showed us to our room and gave us a recommendation for dinner at a local pub! It was amazing food, drink, and atmosphere, my family thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was fabulous! The rooms were large, the bathrooms lovely, the beds sooo comfortable with a nice fluffy comforter. The breakfast the next day was amazing as well. We had the full Irish breakfast, and she had fresh Irish Soda bread as well as rhubarb fresh from her garden! It was so delicious! Then Michael let us follow him along as he took care of his Connemara ponies. Two of them were almost due to give birth, and both my daughters are vets and he took them out into the fields with him, and showed them what he looked for and gave them a real hands on experience! It was amazing, and he is truly a delight man! So friendly and knowledgeable. That was a special experience that we will never forget. We felt like we were part of their family, and wished we had been there for another night! The location of their property was breathtaking. It was away from the town and so serene and peaceful. Quiet, and out in the country! When we return to Ireland, we will definitely book a stay at their location, and stay there for a few days. They took such good care of us, and we enjoyed our stay there immensely! Can’t give enough thigh praise for them! Worth 11 stars or more!!

Nous avions réservé pour une nuit , nous sommes restés une nuit de plus . L’accueil est chaleureux et l’on se sent comme chez soi , tant auprès du feu de bois , qu’en utilisant la kitchenette pour dîner le soir . Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Merci pour cette serenité.

Kathleen and Michael are wonderful hosts, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and very clean. The kitchenette is an asset. As we stayed for 3 nights, we could try the 3 different breakfasts, and they were all gorgeous. We highly recommend this B&B if you want to discover the Connemara!

Parfait, chambre très propre, vaste, grande salle de bains. Maison a 100m de la baie, 5 minutes de Clifden (allez chez Mitchell pour le poisson) Dejeuner bon et copieux. Hotes très sympas. Poneys super gentils :-) and in English: Perfect, very clean, large room large bathroom, 100meters from the sea, 5 minutes from Clifden (try Mitchell for the fish). Breakfast excellent and large. Hosts very nice. Poneys very nice too :-)
