My teenage son and I stayed with Agnes and John and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s situated so well to be able to explore the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. The views from our room were absolutely stunning and Agnes and John were the most warm and welcoming hosts! They had some good recommendations for places to eat and things to see in the area. We were out driving both days we stayed, but they were still up and offered us tea before bedtime each night. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to add a bit of “home” to your Irish vacation.

My family and I had the most magical time. We stayed there for four nights and it was a great starting point for daily explorations in Kerry. The view from the house is just gorgeous and our hosts Agnes and John were so welcoming and kind. Their home was so inviting. The rooms were spacious yet cozy, the beds were so comfortable, and the breakfasts delicious. Since it was lambing season we got to enjoy feeding little ones in the morning and enjoyed watching sheep grazing nearby. My 7 year old boy loved staying there and already wants to go back.

Agnes greeted us warmly and told us their home was ours whilst we stayed. The location was amazing! Defiantly need a car to get out and about, which we did. The place is on a working farm and we all had a turn on feeding the new lambs! Awesome!! Myself actually helped a new born which arrived in a hurry on concrete! John and Agnes were impressed and I was allowed to name the lamb ' Shaz ' and was given apprentice shepherd status!!! Thank you to both of you for making our stay memorable.

Our very first night in Ireland and it was overwhelming how Agnes and John welcomed us at their home and "brought us to our ease". Tahob Coile is a very good base for a ring of kerry tour in both directions not far to the must-have-seen points like Rossbeigh Strand or Portmagee and Kerry Cliffs View

We had just completed our 2 week busy Ireland trip with friends and my husband and I decided to spend one week by ourselves to just relax and be in the moment. I didn’t have reservations and so finding something at the spur of the moment was difficult. One moment there wasn’t anything available and the next morning this place was available. I believe after meeting Agnes that this must have been a God moment. Agnes and John immediately made us feel at home and like family. We loved their little farm, cats, chickens and all the other animals running around. 4 days later we left feeling like family and a little tear in our eye. We feel we really saw the Ireland that I was searching for at this farm. Any recommendations Agnes makes is heartfelt and just a lovely experience. We will definitely be back to visit our new friends.
