Castleview Farm

Kildare, Kildare, R51 N478

4km from Kildare

Meet your host…

Mrs Elizabeth Fitzpatrick

Ed and I have been welcoming guests to our family farmhouse B&B for over 20 years. We love meeting people from various parts of the world. We raised our 2 children here and they loved being involved with the animals. I enjoy baking in my traditional Aga range, using eggs from my own hens and herbs from my garden. My hobbies include oil painting and knowledge of local history. Ed runs the dairy farm, he enjoys chatting with the guests as they watch the milking in progress.

Each bedroom is decorated in a charming country style and offers comfort, warmth and privacy. There is a relaxing sitting room with an open fire that create a cosy atmosphere. Guests are invited to take a stroll around the farm and gardens and relax on the patio watching beautiful sunsets.

Liz was our favorite hostess during our week vacation in Ireland. Our room was very nice. The food was excellent and the location was just what we were hoping for. What made our stay exceptional was how engaging Liz was. She made an effort to get to know us. She was delightful.

My husband and I loved staying here, the hosts were very helpful with local attractions and even went out of there way to help us find a laundry mat in town. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back again some day!!
