We spent the first two nights of our holiday in Ireland at Reades and enjoyed our stay. Thanks to Margaret for her hospitality.

We stayed one night during our short holiday across southern Ireland in this beautiful place and really enjoyed it. Margaret was a perfect host. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast perfect (not to mention the award winning home made bread ). Our 10 yrs old daughter loved the farm setting and would have stayed there for the whole period. I most definetly suggest this place.

Dairy calves out the breakfast room window — what’s not to love? I was traveling with my 84-year-old dad who is a retired farmer, and he loves this type of location. Plus the ground-floor room was a plus. Margaret was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with her. Quite remote, and the nearest town was not touristy at all. We had a half-pint of Guinness in a very small bar and enjoyed talking with the locals.

This was our favorite of all the B&B’s we stayed at. The home was clean, rooms were clean, rooms were spacious as well. Margaret was so informative and we had a great time chatting with her and learning about the farm. We ate at a restaurant just a quick 5 minutes drive away that was very good. And then drank at the pub that is just at the bottom of the hill and owned by the family. It was a great experience. Would definitely stay here again.
