after getting in a car accident a few hours before,(Americans trying to drive on the left side of the road...no one was hurt). Mary greeted us with the BEST hospitality and smile anyone could ask for. We just loved her!! She drove us down to the local restaurant and arranged for the owner to bring us back! Her place is a little hard to find but once we did the scenery from her home is spectacular! Her breakfast was wonderful! My husband and I could not stop eating her award winning brown bread and homemade jam. I would so recommend staying with her. Oh yeah, just ask for hot water instructions in the shower

We stayed one night during our short holiday across southern Ireland in this beautiful place and really enjoyed it. Margaret was a perfect host. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast perfect (not to mention the award winning home made bread ). Our 10 yrs old daughter loved the farm setting and would have stayed there for the whole period. I most definetly suggest this place.

Dairy calves out the breakfast room window — what’s not to love? I was traveling with my 84-year-old dad who is a retired farmer, and he loves this type of location. Plus the ground-floor room was a plus. Margaret was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with her. Quite remote, and the nearest town was not touristy at all. We had a half-pint of Guinness in a very small bar and enjoyed talking with the locals.
