Our room was the smallest we had in any B&B we have stayed at in Ireland out of 10 B&Bs. The room was modern and updated, but it was difficult to have luggage open and walk around the room comfortably. Sally was not as welcoming as others during our stay in Ireland and was not engaging in conversation as we would have liked. The location is not as close to the city and attractions. When we were discussing our breakfast order I made the mistake of calling it an Irish breakfast and I was corrected that it was an "English breakfast". We didn't feel at home as we did in many other locations.

The accommodations were clean but the room very small. If we’re being honest, it was not the warmest greeting from the host that we received at several other B&B’s we stayed at.The breakfast was very good. It was fine for the night on our way to our next destination.

The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The host was not very friendly and we did not see her again after we checked in. The person who made and served us breakfast was very kind and we enjoyed talking with her. We thought we were getting a queen bed but got a room with a double and a twin. Not exactly what we thought. Not sure I would stay here again.

This beautiful mansion is hosted by Margaret and Terrance who offered a warm welcome to my husband and me after a long day of driving from Galway. It’s just a few miles to the center of Derry, which allowed us to drop our bags into a comfortable room with a nice bathroom, freshen up, and make it to the last tour of Derry offered by the “Yellow Jackets”. (Highly recommended for $6.00 and conducted by a well-informed guide named Rory—a dead-ringer for Tom Hanks!). The gardens surrounding the house were just coming into bloom and include an outdoor patio with a waterfall feature and lovely statues. Frankly, we were taken by surprise by the quality of the experience. Breakfast in a sunny large formal dining room was substantial. We were asked what we would like and it was cooked to order. We were there only one night but wished we had planned to stay longer to explore Derry/Londonderry as it has a long and important history which should be learned.
