This B&B is in a beautiful country location! It is far from the noise of the city center and tucked away from other busy roads. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. I would have enjoyed having a TV in the room, but Netflix on my laptop worked well for the evening, though the Wi-Fi strength in the room wasn't as strong as I would have liked. Julie is a sweet and personable person and she took me for a walk to see their sweet little lambs. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If you don't need to worry too much about the ability to connect to Wi-Fi (I do as I need it to work), this is a wonderful place to stay and relax away from the hustle and bustle a city.

Unfortunately it's difficult to review Eaglehill. As when we arrived during the specified check in time, with a confirmation from your firm, the door was ajar, but no one was home!!!! We waited 30 minutes in a cold living room, called, tried to message and emailed to no avail. It became obvious no one was expecting us!! There had been communication with the owner less than 60 days prior. Left us in the dark on a drizzly night to find other lodging.

Dear Diane Fitch, I cannot put into words how sorry I am. We were expecting you and we are very sorry that there was nobody at the B&B for your arrival, and we are so sorry you did not stay with us. Unfortunately an emergency had happened on our farm. Our sheep were lambing at the time and with such instances the situation took a little longer to be resolved than estimated hence the door was left open. It was our intention to be there for you. Apologies again Diane. Yours sincerely, Julie
