Brigit was a very nice host. From the beginning till the end (our stay 16.-18.10.18) she was a perfect guide for our trips. Her meals are delicious and her Service ist absolutely fantastic. Specially her DVD-Entertainment about the trip to the gap of dunloe was unforgettable. We had a lovely time and we will recommend her b&b to our friends. One day we will come back. Nice greetings from Germany, Bielefeld

We loved every minute of our 2 night stay here in early August 2018! Brigid was an enthusiastic, warm, welcoming, and charming hostess. She made us feel at home immediately and was a wealth of knowledge for sightseeing around Killarney/Ring of Kerry/Killarney National Park. Our room for 3 was simply breathtaking - comfortable, charming, clean, spacious, & with a wonderful view overlooking a meadow…we were also within earshot of cows, sheep, a few roosters and chickens…we were in love! When we found out she had owned a restaurant in Killarney and we got to experience her cooking first-hand, we almost asked if we could move-in! We had a choice between several appealing breakfast options to accompany the freshly made scones and other yummy items made available to her guests. The scones were fabulous…when Brigid found out about our mom’s weakness for them, she made an extra one just for her! Although we didn’t get to take advantage of it during our visit, Brigid does sometimes offer dinner to her guests for an additional charge which can be quite convenient if you are looking for a quiet night. The location is ideal, located within easy driving distance to the cute shops/restaurants of Killarney as well as the beautiful Killarney National Park/Ring of Killarney. Once we arrived back at the B&B in the evening, we enjoyed walking the peaceful, quiet surrounding area. There are no shops/restaurants/etc. within walking distance so if that is what your objective is you will want to look elsewhere. We would absolutely recommend this B&B & would not hesitate to stay here again should we be fortunate enough to be back in this corner of the world!

Brigid is by far the best host we’ve encountered in our two trips to Ireland. Last year, we were only able to stay one night at Lios Na Manach but this trip, we stayed 3 nights (still not enough time). She made a suggestion we do the boat tour of the Killarney National Park lakes, then hike through the Gap of Dunloe and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Brigid’s breakfast is unlike any other B&B. She offers fresh scrambled eggs from her hens or pancakes. I haven’t tried the pancake because I can’t get enough of the eggs! She also had homemade muesli, fresh scones, her sons homemade kombucha and many other delicious foods and drinks. The view is beautiful and rooms are clean and spacious. We will recommend this B&B to anyone we know visiting Ireland and plan to return ourselves!

Brigid was not there as we arrived late but we met her the next morning and she was so nice and cheerful. We had a great breakfast and she was very helpful with suggestions of driving routes and sights to see. Our bed was very comfortable and we had a wonderful stay.

Brigid is passionate about ensuring her guests enjoy their stay. When she saw the traveler's guide in my hand, she said, "You don't need a book, you have Brigid!" We benefited from her suggestions on and off the Ring of Kerr. She also makes a restaurant-style dinner for guests if you feel like eating in. The accommodations were great. She couldn't make an adjustment to our bill when we came with two guests instead of three, which was disappointing. But we did enjoy our stay in this quiet corner of Muckross. Make sure you use Google Maps to find it. The road is not on Waze or Apple Maps. (We knocked on someone else's door house on a different street first!)
