Seaclusion

Our stay from June 12th to 15th, 2025, was a disappointment due to the lack of service from the owner, Teresa. She doesn't live on the premises and only appears sporadically. She doesn't answer the phone, only responding via WhatsApp. On the day of arrival, despite having provided the arrival time and informing along the way that we would be 15 minutes late (we indicated 5 p.m. and arrived at 5:15 p.m.), no one was there, and Teresa showed up at 7:15 p.m., two hours late! Now we know why: she is NEVER at these premises. The rooms (two) were comfortable but very austere in their decor. They contained practically nothing but beds, a bathroom, and not a single painting or decorative element. But that wasn't the worst part: It's understood that a B&B is a place that offers accommodation and breakfast, but Teresa doesn't understand it that way! She didn't show up for any of the three days we were there. We NEVER saw her at breakfast. From the noise around 7 a.m., we knew someone was coming, bringing bread and milk, and leaving it in a kitchen where: 1.) You had to make your own breakfast with whatever was there, whether you liked it or not! There was no one to show you where the coffee, milk, how to turn on the stove, etc. 2.) I'm including a photo of the kitchen where it says to put dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There's also a board with the breakfast prices. We didn't understand this either. Nothing like this happened to me in any of the nine other B&Bs I stayed in during my three-week stay in Ireland. 3.) For the three days and three people, we paid a total of €750 for a breakfast service we didn't receive, for a cleaning service we didn't receive, and which, by the way, could have been much improved. For all the reasons mentioned above, I would ask you to look the reviews in Google of this year, 2025, which have nothing to do with previous years. Teresa has completely neglected the service of this place, and I'm practically certain that we had some food for breakfast and prepared by ourselves because my intuition that something wasn't right in this regard proved correct, and Teresa felt "forced" to bring us at least some bread and milk. Of course, this was always in her complete absence. She didn't even show up on the last payday. Her "acquaintance" was there, who received a WhatsApp message with the rest of amount to pay – without comments ! I would never recommend anyone to visit this place, and it should be removed from the B&B Ireland or any other platform and advertised as a hostel, nothing else. Any other information is a big lie for the customers. In my reservation with you the information was clear: Breakfast included – nothing more to say.

We booked the accommodation with breakfast on 26.12.2024, 240 EUR/ 2 persons/ 2 nights. When we arrived (17.05.2025), Theresa told us that we would not get breakfast, only if we paid an additional 14 EUR/night/person. If we booked with breakfast, I think it is unfair that she tells us after arrival that we have to pay extra for the food.

Lovely B&B with Atlantic view We spent 2 nights in a lovingly furnished double room. The owner is very nice and attentive and prepares a tasty breakfast. We felt right at home.
