Abbey View

Great start on our vacation! We arrived a bit early and Robert let us in offering food and drinks, but we just wanted sleep. After a solid nap in a very cozy bed, Robert directed us to a nice pub that was walking distance and told us of a walk near the B&B we could go to stretch our legs. The next morning Robert fed us ( delicious! ) and explained where we should park and what time we to leave for our trip to Inis Oirr and Cliffs of Moher tour. We would have been late without his help! This is an amazing place to stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer!

Bernie was a great host and her B&B is in a great location. The traditional Irish breakfast each morning was delicious and she gave helpful recommendations of where to visit. Would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful B&B. Beautiful setting and Bernie is a marvelous host. She met me at the door and got me a cuppa and cookies. My room was comfy and had everything I needed for a wonderful night’s rest. Breakfast was very delicious I definitely recommend Abbey View for anyone staying in Galway.

Bernie is the best. Our arrival on the first night of our three night stay was a bit late due to some car troubles. Bernie welcomed us still wth tea and toast, making us feel right at home. The full Irish breakfasts in the mornings were amazing .She helped us map out a couple of day excursions that we truly enjoyed. Highly recommend a stay at the Abbey View

We had a wonderful three nights stay. Bernie welcomed us like family. We had three different dietary needs and she provided lovely breakfasts for each of us. She provided written directions to sites of interest. We had the great adventure of taking one ferry to Aran Islands and another back resulting in our car being locked in the ferry parking area. Bernie helped us figure out how to access bus and taxi, as needed, and offered a warm drink and sandwich on our very late return. Lovely home and accessible to many sites of interest.
