Eileen Landy

Don and I have been welcoming guests into our home for over 25 years. We love what we do and get great enjoyment from meeting new people and making sure that they have a wonderful stay at Belmont House. We both love set-dancing and this is our passion aside from the B&B. Don also likes fishing and is an excellent cook! Our main goal is to provide you with a relaxing and welcoming home from home experience and we'll also be delighted to help with advice on things to do and see in our locality.

A welcoming, spacious home just 2km from bustling Waterford city, Belmont House is a leafy haven in beautiful County Waterford. Superbly located for guests to visit the House of Waterford Crystal and take a guided tour of the world-renowned glassware factory, visitors can even buy some to bring home as a memento. The bed and breakfast is also close to great golf and fishing amenities and being so near the city centre, visitors can discover Greyfriars Municipal Art Gallery, entertainment at the Theatre Royal and breathtaking Waterford Nature Park. Off-street parking is available at the house.

How to get here

Approximately 1.5km from Waterford Bridge on Waterford/Rosslare Road (R711). Pass Ferrybank Church. Belmont House is the first Bed and Breakfast on the right side of the road after Ferrybank Shopping Centre. From all other routes take the N25 to the Luffany roundabout. Take the N29 to the Slieverue roundabout , At the Slieverue roundabout take the R711 exit for Waterford. Straight through the next roundabout. Pass the Maxol service station. Belmont House is the 6th house on the left hand side of the road.

My sister and I had a lovely experience staying at Belmont House. Eileen and Don were fabulous hosts. The house was exceptionally clean and warm. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Belmont House is a lovely B+B My sister and I stayed one night here Eileen is a fantastic hostess, very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again if ever back in Waterford.
