Phyllis was a lovely lady and the accomadation was very nice. The breakfast was lovely also. Wasn't too sure about the husband as he seemed very abrupt when serving breakfast. Pub across the road was handy but very expensive for what it was. A little far from town but I did know that before I booked it. Overall it was acceptable and reasonable value for money.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Ashleigh on our recent trip to Ireland. Phyllis was very accommodating..the room on the first floor was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as well. Would recommend this B&B to others.

Our stay at the Ashleigh was wonderful. Phyllis was fantastic! We were late and lost and Phyllis met us in town so we could follow her home. Our room was very nice. Breakfast was very good. Thank you, Phyllis.

Overall didn't live up to the price charged. Phyllis was lovely but the room was average and the cooked breakfast OK but the fruit salad bowl only had melon and a few half grapes which was poor. We had much better standard elsewhere at this price or lower.

Host's Reply:
You booked the family room which sleeps four people. You paid €120 per night. A double room with King Size Bed would have cost you €80 at the time of booking. There is a €40 difference here per night. Sorry you were disappointed with the breakfast, as you had a choice of six cooked breakfasts, along with porridge, cereals, fruit compote, prunes, and fresh fruit bowl. We pride ourselves on our breakfasts, offering fresh local produce where possible. Feed back is always welcome .

We liked the pub across the street, which was nice to not have to drive to dinner into Waterford. The room was nice and clean, although we could hear the other guests quite loudly.
