Rocklands House

Great host and location, town is just down the hill, all was great! Very hospitable and a really nice view from the top of the hill and generous breakfast. Highly recommend.

This is a charming B & B with a stunning view and in a perfect location. John is a marvelous host - hospitable, kind and interesting. We learned so much about the history of the area from him. In addition, there was an atmosphere of conviviality in the house, especially over our delicious breakfasts. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Rocklands House offers everything you seek in a B&B. John the owner is helpful in any way. You have a lovely view over the river. The room we had is absolutely fine. Very good breakfast. All in all a wonderful location

We had a lovely stay. The room had everything we required as well as a little balcony to admire the view. John was a very pleasant host. Breakfast was beautiful; a delicious fruit salad and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs set me up for sightseeing in this beautiful area. We would be happy to stay again if we were in the area.

John was so helpful with giving us directions to different areas to visit. He served a great breakfast and made us feel very welcome. The grounds were beautiful with nice views of the river and we were always comfortable.
