We were only able to stay one night at Rocklands House and wish we could have stayed longer. The home was lovely with a wonderful water view. Each room included a breakfast menu and binder with lots of information on the surrounding Kinsale area. The rooms themselves were roomy and comfortable. Our host, John, was kind enough to drive us into town for dinner and it was quick and easy to hop in a cab to get back. The breakfast was the best we had from the entire trip! One of our travel companions realized after arriving into Killarney the following day that she had lost an earring and John went above and beyond, finding it in the vacuum and mailing it to us in Killarney! We very much appreciated the hospitality and would absolutely recommend Rocklands House to everyone!

B&B is easy to find; it's near Kinsale (just 10 minute walking). John welcome us warm. Bedroom and bathroom were lovely, clean and homey. Marvellous view on Bandon River. Breakfast was the best in our 12 days trip in Ireland (excellent scones). We'll come back: we suggest it to everyone!

We wish we could have stayed a week at the Rocklands House. John was the most gracious host. Went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable in his home - and town. Thank you!

Very friendly host. Told interesting stories about country and people (e.g. Harry Clarke ). Nice B+B, nice town. I would certainly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay! John made us a lovely tea and was incredibly helpful. The food was fantastic, and the house has gorgeous views of greenery and water. We would have definitely stayed longer if we could have!
