Bridgeview Farmhouse

We stayed here for the second time in 3 years and we loved every minute. The view is spectacular and Marian is a great host.

I think we stayed 4 nights at Bridgeview. We very much enjoyed the sunroom, watching the farmers working their fields near by and at a distance. We saw a fox two different times. The fields turned verious shsdes of green as the day progressed. It was always beautiful. Marion is a delightful person to be around. She made sure we were comfortable and well fed in the mornings. I admired her getup-and-go. Our room was very clean and the view was wonderful.

A beautiful, big farmhouse with a lovely view of an estuary and lots of walking paths. What makes this place even lovelier is Marion, our host. There were amazing choices for breakfast and those scones and bread were homemade. You won’t starve here ! Our room was great and shower was good. Thank you Marion for a wonderful three days!

This was my favorite B&B this time in Ireland. My mom and I stayed two nights, and I would have enjoyed another night or two there if we could have stayed. The location is gorgeous and the old farmhouse a delight. Marion is a wonderful host. She greeted us and made us feel welcome right away, bringing us fresh-baked scones and coffee. She recommended a local pub for dinner our first night, and it was fun. It was definitely a popular local pub, with many families having dinner together. We loved it. (It was Hurley's, I think.) Marion's breakfasts are amazing. She sources everything locally and makes the jams she serves from scratch. The scones were once again made fresh each morning. We loved our breakfasts there. Marion was fun to chat to and runs an impressive, welcoming, comfortable B&B. The room was spacious, and we appreciated the en suite bathroom. We'd love to stay with her again if we're back in West Cork.

What a wonderful B&B, what a phantastic view towards the estuary, what a warm welcome, what a comfortable stay, cosseted by Marion's warm hospitality! A time to remember and a place to dream of!
