This place is a little gem tucked away in West Cork. Before we even got to Bridgeview the estuary below the house was home to Avocets, Whimbrel and Oystercatchers (If you are a birdwatcher). Scones and tea were waiting for us on our arrival in the house. Marion was a lovely host with a great Irish sense of humour. The accommodation was excellent and the Breakfast in the morning very delicious. I think the most memorable part of our stay was the conversations we had with Marion herself. What a lovely lady.

After finally finding the place we found out that it was overbooked and had to go to another place. The hosts found another place and did get us a bottle of wine, but after driving for hours to have to do so again was frustrated, but they did find a place for us which was nice. We just would appreciate notice when it was overbooked so could have looked beforehand

Bridgeview was beautiful. We didn't get to meet Marion as we arrived a little late, but everything was ready for us, and we were greeted by her sweet dog. Breakfast was delicious, and we got to sit in the smaller sunroom attached to the dining room. The views are spectacular. The bathroom is definitely on the small side (of the room we were in), but if you're not concerned with that, I'd highly recommend staying here! Also within a 10 minute drive of a lovely restaurant called the Pink Elephant.

We had a great stay. The view from our room was beautiful, it was a hillside scene with lots of young cows grazing. Its away from the towns, but there was a fantastic restaurant 5 minutes away where we had a really nice meal. Breakfast was great. Probably the best of our B&B experiences.
