Nora was extremely friendly and helpful. She welcomed us with a cup of tea and scones and provided maps as well as information about the things to visit in the area.. The rooms are old, but everything is clean. The B&B is located in a quiet neighbourhood. A 25 minute walk along the promenade brings you to Galway CIty.

This was our second stay with Nora and, as always, she treated us as if we were family. She goes out of her way to accommodate her guests with her warm Irish hospitality. Each and every time you return to the B&B, Nora is right there at the front door offering you refreshments. Her B&B is situated in a perfect location whereby you can take a stroll along the Salt Hill prom or walk over to the next street and hop on the bus for Galway City and it also drops you off at the very same location. Her B&B is clean, cozy and quiet and you couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend St. Kieran's B&B!

We were a bit unhappily surprised after reading such great reviews. The lady was very friendly but the house is really old, the room interior as well as breakfast- and livingroom have not been refurbished since the sixties. Beds very very soft (old), a sink 'knee-high' in a corner of the room where you could not stand straight and wc/shower seperated by a slidingdoor. It was clean but all and all not what we expected. Photos on the B&B Ireland website and reviews mislead us. All and all a bit dissappointing start of a very beautiful trip through gorgeous Ireland.

The B&B is perfectly situated just a short walk from the Salthill Prom in a quiet, charming neighborhood that made for a good night sleep. Nora was a very sweet and extremely attentive host, always happy to provide us with an extra snack of wonderful scones and the most delicious tea. Her place is very cozy and clean and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Our first experience with a B&B was here, and it was a great start. We weren't prepared for how much there would be for breakfast and struggled to eat it all, but I'd hardly call that a complaint.
