Celtic House is a nice space. The room was a little tight, but clean and cute. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. I had to borrow a hair dryer and they had a spare for me, which was great. It's a quick 10 minute walk into the center of town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants/bars to check out. Kilkenny is just a great spot and I would definitely return and stay here again!

Lovely people and in close proximity to the town center. Simple and clean accommodations. Due to problems we were not able to sort out the voucher from Aer Lingus Vacations so we paid cash for the room. Please note that the Ireland B&B site incorrectly shows that they accept cards. Forget trying to call Ireland B&B after 5 pm Friday...there is no one available until Monday. While they have an answering machine, it serves little purpose when the issue is after hours on a Friday. Also asking for a telephone number to call us back doesn't work for travellers. I as many others don't travel with a cell phone. Hope that can be cleared up Ireland B&B. Otherwise the hosts were wonderful and did there best to help out.

Nice B&B, hosts were very friendly, room was spacious enough for me and my 2 daughters. Delicious breakfast. The hostess, Angela, is an author and I bought her book and loved it - historical fiction based on her family heritage which was lovely to read right after our trip and helped put perspective on the country and what the history behind it is. We would definitely stay here again.
