We had a very pleasant one night stay on the way to Dingle from Dublin, the room that we had was large well laid out and facing a wonderful garden. The breakfast was good and the centre of the village with lots of eating places was only a few hundred meters away. We had our excellent evening meal at the Italian restaurant were you need to book.

Beautiful clean B&B. Also great for our 1,5 year old daughter. She could play in the garden and in the playground nearby (1 minute by car, 5 minutes walk along the road.) The breakfast was lovely with fresh tomatoes from the garden.

Wonderful hosts, rooms, gardens, breakfasts, and location. Eileen and Paul deserve every kudo you've read here and more. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed, the grounds are lovingly cared for by Paul and supply honey and raspberry jam for the large, almost brunch, breakfast. Ballina and Killaloe boast attractions of their own and are close enough to many more-the Cliffs of Moher are a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive depending on route and the drive around Lough Derg affords spectacular views. (Driving on the left isn't so hard; it's the narrowness of the secondary roads-do arrange insurance before you get to the rental counter, where it's exorbitant. Most credit cards don't cover Ireland and you'll want a copy of coverage if yours does.) We'll go back on our next Ireland visit. It's worth changing your itinerary a bit to stay with the Brennans.
