Maureen was a lovely host and made us feel immediately welcome. The food was delicious and the location surrounding the BnB is just marvelous. We could see the ocean and the famous Ben Bulbin and sheep were around us as well which gave us the perfect Ireland atmosphere.
Sligo is only a short drive away and offers lots of restaurants and a small town for a walk. We also visited the Classiebawn Castle and did a walk around the Gleniff Horseshoe which is a hidden gem of the area!

Room was small, but had a wonderful view of the ocean. The sunroom was cozy to drink our morning coffee and choose from many options for a full breakfast. Found a great restaurant in Grange for our late evening meal. We have been very satisfied with all our b & b places throughout Ireland.

Wonderful home to stay in. We were exhausted as it was out first night in Ireland. Maureen told us it was quiet and we'd sleep well. She was so right! We would stay here again. A great welcome to Ireland!

My wife and I loved our stay here and thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversation with Maureen. This is a charming home with a very inviting sun room for breakfast on top of a hill that overlooks a lake in Galway. An historic farmhouse that has been in the McGowan family for 150 years also sits on the property. Very clean, warm and inviting home.
