Oh my gosh, I just don't have enough time in the day or enough words to express how wonderful this place is!
My two girlfriends and I were running late and left a message in the vain (we thought) hope that we would still have a bed to sleep in that night. When we finally arrived around 9:30 pm or so, Penny and Kevin had waited up and were the most lovely, gracious people! Penny assured us of our room and sent us along to Durty Nelly's for dinner saying their kitchen was probably closed but she was sure the folks there would find something for us.
Penny was right! They rounded up some off-menu ham sandwiches for "The Girls" and some chips. Went down well with our Guinness. ;)
Our stay at Dunaree was fabulous. Beautiful place inside and out with lovely views. The breakfast was also amazing! We happened to be the only guests and the breakfast spread must have been the usual as there was SO much to choose from!
I hope to go back to Ireland someday and if I do, I WILL be staying here again.

We had a great stay at the Dunaree, Kevin and Penny are great host. Plenty of parking, great views and close to the village and castle.
I would highly recommend.

Penny and Kevin were one of the top highlights of our family holiday. She set the bar for the entire trip! The breakfast and accomodations were the wonderful Irish experience we were hoping for. She is in a perfect location for Bunratty castle and most of the Wild Atlantic attractions. I hope to see her and Kevin again one day.

We had a wonderful stay with Penny. We had 2 rooms and they were both terrific. The breakfasts were amazing and penny always had time to stop and chat.
The lounge and the gardens were a nice bonus to chill in at the end of the day or to regroup for the rest of the day.
If you are in this area, perfect place to stay and you pass Bunratty castle getting to Dunaree. That is how close you are.
Thanks penny for the wonderful stay and your suggestions. Will see you again..

This was one of the few B and B's where we stayed that felt like we were guests in a home (without the awkwardness and obligations) vs. being a "client" accommodated in an at-home business.
Quiet, lovely garden and well-kept grounds, excellent facilities and a great breakfast. Penny is a great hostess and very welcoming. Perfect location for our 'overnight' between Dingle and Doolin and the Medieval banquet at Bunratty.
