Eileen was very warm and welcoming. We arrived late around 8pm and she was welcoming and gave us a little tour of the lodgings. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options which was great considering we had 3 picky toddlers with us. The room (1 double and 2 twin) was warm, cozy, clean, and spacious enough to fit a cot for the youngest toddler and still have space for our luggages. The location was excellent as we were able to walk into town for something to eat or just to shop. gas station at the corner was very convenient for any little thing extra that we needed. The lounge room was very nice because she offered tea, coffee, and snacks. Also had plenty of brochures for places to eat as well as tourist spots. This was our very first B&B experience and I can honestly say that it was amazing and makes us excited to visit B&Bs on our next travels. I would definitely stay at this B&B on our next visit to the Killarney area.

This B&B was just wonderful. The host was so kind that when we got to the B&B she immediately offered to do some laundry for us and even offered us some beer or whiskey on the house. The breakfast spread was enormous and extremely generous. The B&B was only a short walk into downtown Killarney and a great place to stay the night before or after doing the Ring of Kerry!

Our stay at The Mountain Dew was superb! The room was bigger than most B&Bs we had stayed at and Eileen was very accommodating. She gave us easy instructions on how to get to town and other attractions and activities that Killarney had to offer. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent with a huge variety to choose from. Hands down one of our favorite B&Bs on our trip to Ireland.

Very nice owner. Room was not clean. Carpet had not been vacuumed in a while and sheets weren't clean. Breakfast was good.
