Seacoast Lodge is a lovely B&B that faces the ocean in the front and rolling cattle fields in the back. We were initially greeted by their son Allen who welcomed us in warmly and showed us to our ocean view room. It was a great size room and bathroom and had one bonus of a large closet to store your stuff out of the way. PJ, the owner, was a very kind and sweet man who made us a delicious porridge each morning and supplied us with a large bowl of fresh fruit. There isn't much in Fanore and the only place to eat was the pub next door. However they have delicious food and it is a short drive into Doolin if you desire anything else. We loved the area and its proximity to great hikes and we adored PJ. If you want a lovely stay with a wonderful host and beautiful nature all around you, Seacoast Lodge is the place to be.

Spectacular setting and a warm host. We arrived late after a visit to the Cliffs and only staying the one night had a room in the back of the house, looking at the hills. We did have a spectacular view of the ocean and storms at breakfast and walking to and from the pub and the little convenience store across the way. The Blue Pub had some of the best food we ate in Ireland and live music. The internet wasn't working and in the morning PJ got it up and running for us. On our way we drove north and had a rainy walk on Fanore beach. SeaCoast Lodge is on our list for a return visit.

An excellent B&B that is very clean and has large rooms with very nice furnishings. We had a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean and of an ancient cemetery that was close by. It was one of the best locations we stayed at during our vacation in Ireland.
