We were very disappointed with this B&B. Check -in was listed at 3pm on and finally a 15 year old boy arrived at 4:15 to let us in. We would not use the shower as it appeared to have mold on the floor and tiles. There was no hot water to even wash by hand. Margaret was not very friendly although breakfast was fine. The only positive is that the location to town was convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay at Margaret‘s house. Our room was cozy and very clean and Margaret was a very friendly host. Kinsale is a very cute little town and you can easily reach it within a short walking distance. The breakfast was delicious so we can definitely recommend staying at Ashgrove.

Right outside of Kinsale and just a short pleasant walk to the harbour. Good place to bed down for the evening.

Margaret was very sweet when asked questions. Our room was tiny for three women, compared to other B&Bs, but it was adequate for our needs. Town was within walking distance, though the road was a little hazardous. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
