Meet your host…

Both Peter and his wife Mignonne look forward to welcoming you into our home and playing a major part in your visit to Ireland and the small town of Kenmare. What a great stay! The house was beautiful and modern, breakfast was probably the best we had on our trip (unbelievably good pancakes!) and the town of Kenmare was a welcome change from the crowded Killarney. Definitely worth a stay here if you are planning on visiting the national park (its only a short drive away).

Our first trip to Ireland and so happy we stayed here. The owner couldnt have been more helpful and he cooked a great breakfast for us. The distance was within walking distance of the town and Kenmare was a beautiful little town to stop in before beginning the Ring of Kerry.

Hosts Peter and Mignonne were so wonderful and personable, walking through all the ins/outs of our room and their place upon our arrival. Comfortable room. Breakfast was delish and piping hot! Close proximity to the downtown area of Kerry which allowed us to walk (our preference). Such a nice place. We highly recommend it.

Very well appointed and located close to downtown's many activities and food/pub/shops. We were offered a nice selection of breakfast choices and provided excellent accommodations and food; we highly recommend Driftwood.

Great B&B. Ideally located for day trips around the ring of Kerry. The hosts were very helpful and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this B&B.
