My sister and I stayed at Flushing Meadow during our drive through Ireland. While our host and hostess were VERY nice and accommodating, the place was a little hard to find and was a drive to get to food for dinner. The house is rather small, the beds were questionably clean, and there was a slight musty smell. Also, if you are not an extremely religious person, you may be put-off a little by all of the pictures and statues. Still, everything was clean, there was a roomy bathroom/shower, and the breakfast was excellent.

I was in and out quickly (catching a super-early morning flight out of Cork Airport), so while I couldn't avail myself of all Flushing Meadow had to offer, my sleep was restful and comfy. It will be a good choice next time I'm in the area!

We stayed for two nights and had a very good time. The breakfast supply was very generous and the hosts were polite and kind.
