First time to Ireland and the hosts were GREAT. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon. The hosts was very friendly and welcoming! Unlike some of the other B&B's, Avelow House offered a various for breakfast options. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. If I have the opportunity to return to Ireland, I would stay at this B&B again!

It was not as nice as some of the places we stayed but quite adequate. The host on the other hand was splendid and his stories were very entertaining. Food:very good. They say it is a 3 minute walk to downtown. I daresay you could not make it in 3 minutes in a car. It is however a pleasant 20 minute walk and the selection of shops and restaurants is outstanding. Keep a look out for the street buskar singing a satirical song about Trump. Its hilarious,

Such a sweet family!! The house is an easy walk to the shops and pubs (about 5 min walk), the bed was very comfortable and they were very accommodating for our earlier breakfast time (7am). We did have a cold shower but I think that was our operator error not theirs. We should have asked the evening before for directions. They gave great honest advice on our trip as were trying to decided between 2 options and we are so appreciative of their advice! We would definitely stay again if we ever get the chance!!

We had a wonderful stay at Avelow House and Pat and his family were some of the kindest people we have met. The accommodations were very comfortable and it was a quick walk to get into town. Would highly recommend staying at Avelow House!
