Our first Irish B&B--and it set the tone perfectly. Great location (yes, a 3 min DRIVE, but a pleasant 20 minute stroll to town). VERY neat and clean, great service. Melanie was very warm, inviting, and helpful. Delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Avelow House for 2 nights in April and it was absolutely fantastic! Definitely a highlight of our Ireland road trip. Melanie and her father, Pat, were so friendly and helpful. The place is immaculately clean and the breakfasts are delicious, with options to choose from. One night, we were playing cards in the sitting area and Melanie brought us an evening snack, which was so sweet and thoughtful of her. Those special touches put Avelow House above and beyond!

We stayed here for 2 night early in our trip and enjoyed it so much that we would have liked to go back but could not fit it in. Melanie and her father were wonderful. Room was just what we needed and breakfast was the best! Location was great for us. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Avelow House very much, especially because Melanie and her dad, Pat, were so nice to talk to and gave us great advice. The rooms were comfortable and it is in a great location. We liked the town of Kenmare very much, too.

First time to Ireland and the hosts were GREAT. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon. The hosts was very friendly and welcoming! Unlike some of the other B&B's, Avelow House offered a various for breakfast options. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. If I have the opportunity to return to Ireland, I would stay at this B&B again!
