We wanted B&B's in the country side and this place was exactly, what we were looking for. It wa misty and pooring when we arrived, but Ted gave us a warm welcome and served us homemade scones, tea and coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ted gave us a good tip about a restaurant to eat. The breakfast Brid served in the morning was rich and delicious. The view over the landsape and the sea was amazing.

Behind the glowing write-up is the happy discovery that it is all true! This is a warm and hospitable home that Brid and Ted share. With that comes introductions (for us foreigners) of the history of the western parts of Ireland. Add to that the history of this place, the land, and the clans. The room was spacious and the food delightful. We were there for a festive family event, and all kept going for us, with lots of fun interaction with the enlarged family.
