Bríd & Ted Moriarty

Ted and Brid are running their farmhouse over 25 years. They both enjoy meeting people and helping them with their itinerary. Brid also enjoys making her own brown bread, scones and jam while Ted is very knowledgeable on local geneology and history. Books abound from walks, sight seeing to history and archaeology. Ted maps out walks, hikes and cycles for guests so all are assured of help if needed. Open all year and keenest prices!

Hosts Bríd and Tom Moriarty welcome guests with fresh tea/coffee and tasty homemade scones on arrival. Farmstay Experience

Moriarty's Farmhouse B&B consists of 113 acres of Farm with parts deemed a National Heritage Area habitat, a flora and wildlife preserve.  The main farming enterprise is beef – suckler cows. Guests are free to wander along the fields and mountain if they wish. There are magnificent views of the countryside and sea from the mountaintop.

How to get here

In Dingle, after the first roundabout continue west to the second roundabout, go over the bridge and west to Ventry (Ceann Trá) village. Keep to your left and you'll arrive at Ventry church. Take a right and the next right and the house is up an avenue on the second left.

Lovely host. Made us sandwiches to take to airport. Only stayed one night. Clean. Teapot and TV in room. Sorry the weather wasn’t better because the harbor is fabulous. Had a wonderful meal there

Hosts were so friendly. Breakfast was great! The short walk to the beach was nice too. I would stay again.

Excellent B&B, so welcoming for our family and 7 month old baby. Great view, easy to find, and even better breakfast. So tasty! Thank you for the lovely stay.

We are happy to stay in this house. Kind welcoming: when we arrived Brid served us a tea with a fine scone. That was very remarkable. E fine breakfast, nice view, quiet place etc. We recommend this place.

It was an excellent stay. Beautiful view from room and wonderful breakfast the next day. Got great advice on a better route for our planned outing for the day. Very warm hosts.
