Country Irish road to get there, but location was refreshing after busy crowded cities. Dear interesting couple were the hosts. Won't forget this place or area!

My sister and I stayed at Hillcrest for three nights. We would love to stay a week if we ever go back again. We enjoyed the adventure of finding this B&B. The terrain is just beautiful, so changing in several ways. This B&B is located in a great place for hiking and site seeing. The beautiful river, winding road and roaming sheep really made this place special. The B&B hosts were friendly and very helpful with great hints in our daily travels. Breakfast is great and our room was very comfortable. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The drive into the B&B is spectacular - so much so that we turned around, got our bearings and called to make sure that we were on the correct road. These were the narrowest and most breathtaking kilometers that we found in Ireland. The home is wonderful and the scenery is breathtaking. Might sound strange, but you should pray for a great rain storm while you are there! We didn't find the proprietors to be as friendly and inviting as others we encountered. Others sat with us, or dined with us, and we established bonds quickly. That really didn't happen here. But the drive and the scenery and the experience with sheep on the roadway was incredible.

Great location, One of the nicest area`s and B&B`s I have stayed in Ireland.. Would recommend this B&B. It is off the main roads and is ideal location for a peaceful break away but is still near enough to drive to all the places you would need to get to. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
