we arrived early in the day with prior email correspondence because of early morning flight. room was not ready as previous clients had just left but Theresa gave us breakfast and allowed us to freshen up before going out for the day. the information on accessing bus system was great. she provided LEAP cards to keep fare cost down for us. food was good. room a bit small but adequate and it was clean. I know tenants that came day after had some communication issues with confirmation and arrival times so I do think you need to be very specific with Theresa. Lovely lady and very personable.

Did not stay! Arrived at 1pm to drop cases - no one in! Came back at 3pm ( Check In From 3 pm it said) - No one there! No reply on her mobile. Answering machine on the land line. Hung around in street - neighbour across road appeared with his key to let us in - viewed all Rooms : None Ready / Prepared! He tried her phone - busy / no reply! I can let you leave your cases but you cannot stay nor can I give you my key! You could wait in your car in the street until Teresa cames back - from where and when ; I do not know? My wife is on crutches - mobility issues! Time was passing , we were tired after a long car journey - had much to do in preparation for a big family wedding in the city. Our host was not present nor contactable - we left and booked into an hotel at significant extra cost. I phoned Teresa much later that day - such a tale of blarney ; "i was stuck at the airport taking the previous guests there ; I intdnded to prepare your room, when you gave me your arrivsl time" What anout your website and Booking Confirmation which clearly says Check In from 3 pm? "Ah! Well I dont know about that" - " I was trying to help the people before uou who had a late Check Out".....and there was an excuse for everything - all so unprofessional! I would sue for Upset & Inconvienence if I thought she had a clue about her responsibility to fulfill the Booking Contract. Never Again - Avoid this well meaning dear - who runs the B& B on her own and badly!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Glen House. It was very clean and tidy, with great food for breakfast made to order provided by our wonderful hostess. The location was quiet and away from the noise of the city of Dublin, but within a 25 minute bus ride to the center of the city for sight-seeing. The bus stop was a 10 minute walk away, and there was a wonderful pub, the Pines that served an excellent dinner close by too. I would highly recommend staying there, and it was a highlight of our first encounter with Ireland.
