We loved our stay in the Caragh River Lodge. A beautiful house in the middle of nature, a comfortable room, very clean and an outstanding breakfast prepared by Doreen. I liked especially the fresh scones in the morning, the best I ate during my holidays in Ireland. Doreen and Tom, thank you very much for a great stay.

This is a beautiful and peaceful setting, in the middle of hills and gorgeous views. My husband took a long walk in the morning to the river, got his fill of nature. The home is perfect, and so are Doreen and Tom, who greeted us as we pulled up. Parents and 2 21yo kids slept in one big room with comfortable beds and our own bathroom. It was quiet, and lovely. Breakfast was planned from the night before, when Doreen took our orders. We had our own table for breakfast, which was yummy. It took us 45 mins or so from the main toad to get there, and again in the morning. So beautiful, but remote. Glad we drove with daylight. It was the perfect stay in the middle of a busy sightseeing week, we are so glad we stayed with Doreen and Tom.

Doreen's B&B was absolutely amazing! The view is breathtaking, the rooms were spacious and comfortable...Doreen and her husband Tom, spectacular. This is a must stay! The only thing I would call out is it is very far removed from speedways and/or civilization in general. If you want to stay at a place where you can easily walk to a store or restaurant...this will not be the place for you. If you don't mind driving down quaint but small country lanes with sheep and the random cow in the road then you MUST experience. This was hands down my FAVORITE stay, while in Ireland.
