B&Bs in Ireland - The Perfect Holiday Accommodation

Where you stay when you are on holiday can really make or break your trip away. It is an integral part of the holiday experience, so it is important that you get it right. There are many reasons why I think that a bed and breakfast home in Ireland is the perfect holiday accommodation, so I feel compelled to share this information with anyone who may be taking a trip to the beautiful Emerald Isle.

I don’t know about you, but when I meet friendly people on holiday it really enriches my experience and gives me the feel good factor. I love that on arrival to a ‘B&B Ireland’ bed and breakfast; hosts welcome you into their home and provide refreshments of tea/coffee and some delicious home-baking, usually freshly baked scones or homemade brown bread. It is a lovely way to meet your hosts and a chance to relax after your journey.

Warm Irish Hospitality

Homes are tastefully decorated with comfort in mind. The relaxed atmosphere of a B&B makes it easy to unwind and enjoy your surroundings. The sitting room is a great place to sit, read or chat with fellow guests and compare itinerary plans. In the evening, your hosts will be happy to spend time with you and help plan your next day adventures. They’ll know all the must-see things to see and do in their area.

Irish Culture

You’ll get a true sense of Irish culture when staying with an Irish family. Unlike hotels, you actually get to mix and interact with the family you stay with. They will be able to direct you to the local pub that has the best traditional music sessions. No holiday/vacation is complete without a night spent mixing with the locals, listening to their stories and generally enjoying the ‘craic’.  After a great night of Irish music your B&B will be just a short stroll away

Irish Breakfast

So you have had a lovely night’s sleep in your cosy bed and are now looking forward to a tasty breakfast that will set you up for the exciting day ahead. B&Bs tend to provide a varied breakfast ranging from the famous traditional Irish fry to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or a continental breakfast of bread, fruit and yoghurts. If you have any special dietary requirements, just let the host know and they’ll be happy to accommodate. Some B&Bs will even provide you with a packed lunch when you head off to explore the region.

Location of B&Bs

The location of B&Bs make them really unique, as unlike hotel accommodation, you will generally find a B&B in every city, town, village and countryside location in Ireland. This makes them the perfect base when touring. With the B&B Ireland website listing over 900 B&Bs throughout Ireland, it means that wherever your travels take you, there will always be a bed and breakfast nearby. For convenience you can pre-book your accommodation online, which will mean the only thing you have to concern yourself with is having fun and exploring.

Where you stay when you are on holiday can really make or break your trip away. For this reason, a bed and breakfast home in Ireland is the perfect holiday accommodation!
