Top Awards go to B&B Ireland Bed and Breakfasts
Congratulations to the following B&B Ireland bed and breakfasts which were recently named on the travel site Trivago’s Top Hotel Awards. The award list is based on online ratings, which was once dominated by the hotel sector but now it’s the B&B accommodation providers of Ireland taking on a strong presence. This goes to show that visitors to Ireland are attracted to the family-run and personalised service of B&Bs!
B&Bs making the top 20 list are:
Avlon House B&B in Co Carlow
B&B Ireland Guest Review: “We stayed in Avlon House B.B. for one night and enjoyed the comfort and ambience. The breakfast was delicious and could not fault anything. Great variety for a hearty breakfast and we shall be back.”
Woodside Lodge, Westport in Co Mayo
B&B Ireland Guest Review: “Best breakfast in our 12 day Ireland trip, cooked to perfection by our hosts. Magnifique! The most gracious owners, very nice. Accomodations clean and spacious, the 10 min walk to town was great. One of nicest towns we visited, by far.”
Evergreen B&B, Swords in Dublin
B&B Ireland Guest Review “We arrived early and were welcomed and graciously shown our large, bright, clean room. It had its own entrance outside through double glass doors onto a patio area with tables. One of the nicest B&B's we've stayed in. Would highly recommend.”
Rose Park House, Derry City in Co Derry/Londonderry
B&B Ireland Guest Review: “We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are new and modern. The home is in a convenient location to visit the Derry sites. The entire family was great and hospitable.”
Keef Halla Country House, Crumlin in Co Antrim
B&B Ireland Guest Review “A wonderful stay. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and the room was very comfortable. Great location. The delicious, and filling, breakfast was a great start to the day.”
It takes a lot of hard work and commitment for a B&B host to consistently get great online ratings and reviews from guests who have stayed in their bed and breakfast. True dedication and hard work goes into ensuring every guest that stays with them feels right at home, that bedrooms are comfortable and pristine and that the food prepared is top cuisine. Because B&B hosts are in residence, they are on-hand to tend to guests’ needs and spend time with them. B&B hosts are able to give a great insight into their local area, which really adds to the whole holiday experience.
Hotel v B&B? Well, if you are looking for a warm welcome, a home from home atmosphere and a holiday to remember, I would choose bed and breakfasts every time!
