May B&B Guest Reviews

There is no better recommendation than from someone who has actually stayed in the B&B you are thinking of booking. So, here is a selection of our May B&B guest reviews...

Cornerville - Howth, Dublin

WOW!!! We loved our stay at Cornerville! Andy was a delightful host! The location was perfect. Howth was a lovely town. The location was very close to the train station which we took into Dublin. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. Andy thought of everything to have in the room to make our stay comfortable, even chocolates on the pillows! The breakfast was amazing, smoked salmon with eggs and the best croissants I have ever had! I would highly recommend staying here!!

Glenmaroon House - Blarney, Cork

This home was absolutely immaculate and beautifully decorated! It was my favourite of three B and B's we stayed at. The hosts were delightful and very accommodating. The gardens were beautiful, as was the sun room. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

Woodhaven Lodge - Galway City

Bridie was a wonderful host and very helpful with giving us information about things to do in the area. Her home is clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good. There is a bus stop directly across from this B and B which was very convenient for going to the Galway town center. Bridie also recommended a bus tour to Connemara and it was just as good as she described it. We would definitely stay there again.

Brandon View House - Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny

Brandon View House was the first stop on our 6-night Bed & Breakfast vacation in Ireland. We loved the country location with green fields dotted with sheep but it was also convenient to town and shopping. Kilkenny was not a far drive either. Helen was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful!! Our room was very nice and clean. Coffee, water and a small frig in the hallway was an added bonus. The sitting room has all information on an Ireland visit you could ask for. The breakfast room was amazing, lined with windows and tastefully decorated! Breakfast was amazing and she gave us choices of what to eat. We were the only guests for the night so felt very pampered!! Thanks Helen!!

Emohruo B&B Doolin Cliffs of Moher, Clare

Margaret is the BEST! Such a delight to stay with her. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our conversations sharing family history. Shannon is adorable and wanted to go with us upon leaving for Doolin. The town atmosphere was exactly as we wanted with the music, food and meeting the locals. One of the highlights of our trip. When we return to Ireland we will definitely include a visit to Margaret's. Thank you so much Margaret! The Kansas girls, Louanne and Renee

Coolmore House Coleraine, Derry-Londonderry

Of all the B&B's where we stayed, we thought this was the best. The building is very new and with many amenities. We felt very safe/secure during our stay. Because it is a relatively small B&B and probably run as a side business, we were placed in what had been the owner's daughter's bedroom. The room was full of magazines, and information. The bathroom was very large and clean with a jacuzzi and a separate walk-in shower. The breakfast was excellent, and the hostess was well aware of great restaurants in the neighborhood and made a reservation for us. Our experience was great.
