August B&B Guest Reviews

When a guest has stayed in one of our Bed and Breakfast properties they receive an email from B&B Ireland to invite them to review their B&B stay. Most of us like to read reviews before we make the decision to book accommodation. All B&B homes that are listed on the B&B Ireland website have been approved by the Irish Tourism Standards Board or by B&B Ireland’s Quality Framework so you can relax in the knowledge that you are staying in quality-assured accommodation.
 
Below is a small selection of our August guest reviews highlighting what to expect when booking a B&B stay.

Mount View - Cobh, Co Cork

We stayed here for 2 nights and the service was exceptional. Noirin is a superb hostess that made our stay in Cobh even more enjoyable. The breakfast each morning was lovely, cooked to order and ready at our own time request which was a lovely touch. Noirin and Tony are fantastic hosts and the B and B is a perfect location for a trip to Cobh. 5 minute walk into town and 15 min drive to Fota Wildlife Park. Very enjoyable and safe stay with all covid protocols adhered to.

Avoca House - Galway City, Co Galway

Avoca House was a great place to stay, and Kathleen was a superb host! She gave us great tips, directions, and information to help us plan our time in the area. Our room was clean and comfortable- a perfect base to explore Galway, the Burren, the Aran Islands, and Connemara. Avoca House is in a great location- right on the bus route if you don't want to drive into Galway (and if you do- it's just a short drive into the city centre). Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious- and I'm still dreaming about those warm scones. I would definitely stay here again.

Bayside B&B - Donegal Town, Co Donegal

My sister and I stayed at this beautiful estate for one night. We wish it had been longer. Lovely home, very spacious house and grounds that include breathtaking views of the rolling hills. Lovely goats nearby that will delight adults and kids alike. We had a stunning rainbow within an hour of check in. It was beautiful. The hosts could not have been more lovely or accommodating. We had a beautiful stay. Cannot wait to return.

Ross House - Riverstown, Co Sligo

My stay at Ross House was gorgeous, it could not have gone better. The house is spotless, the bedroom and bathroom were also spotless, spacious and incredibly comfortable. Nicolas and Oriel and their family are fantastic hosts and the breakfast is delicious. I would recommend Ross House to solo travellers, couples, friends and families. They were most helpful and kind to me, giving me information about local sites of interest and places to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them.

The Arches - Arva, Co Cavan

An absolute hidden gem. The house is nestled in the heart of farm land surround by mountains. We couldn’t have got a warmer welcome than we got from Pearl. Nothing was a trouble. We required an very early start as some of the group were attending a rowing regatta when we got up we were treated to fresh scones and brown bread. Rooms were spotless. Great outside seating area which we bailed of and managed to get the perfect moon rise to top off the top accommodation.

Great place to stay - wonderful location with great space while being within easy access to the city. Desmond and Susan are very welcoming and friendly hosts and have set up the property to allow independent access. Will stay again …
