The Ice Cross Downhill World Championships comes to the streets of Belfast on the 20th and 21st February for an action packed weekend of extreme sports. 140 competitors will take to the ice assault course specifically designed for the city streets. Belfast is one of four stops to host this major sporting event and a whopping 40,000 spectators are expected.

The spring season welcomes a new line of fashion and Belfast is kicking off in style with the West Coast Cooler Fashion Week. The event is one of the most glamorous weeks in the Belfast Calendar as the city showcases the High Street Heaven and Designer and Designer Boutiques fashion shows from 20th – 21st March. The festival will showcase the best local designers and independent boutiques as well as international high street names. Expect a colourful weekend!
Valentines Weekend in Belfast
If you’re looking for a romantic Valentines getaway, Belfast is bursting with events over the weekend. Titanic Belfast will be hosting special Valentine’s Afternoon Tea in the luxurious surroundings of the Titanic Suite for a romantic celebration by the Grand Staircase on Sunday 15 February. If you’re looking for something audacious why not take a segway trip around the Titanic quarter. The city also has a food tour which takes in 8 destinations and offers over 20 foods and drinks from Northern Ireland.
